The Sea Lion whale watch boat is U.S. Coast Guard certified for 49 passengers.
We usually hold the count to 40 to insure lots of space at the rails and in the cabin. Private groups 40-44.
Sea Lion was built in 2007 specifically for wildlife viewing off the San Juan Islands. She is the newest large vessel in the San Juan Islands. We maintain her inside and out to keep her looking and running just like new.
Sea Lion is modern, fast and comfortalbe. It has a large walk around deck, outside covered seating, inside cabin seating with big windows, bow seating and open seating on the stern.
There is a large bathroom and tables in the windowed, heated cabin. There is also a children's library and a wildlife library on board as well as high grade binoculars for our guests.

The Kittiwake whale watch boat is U.S Coast Guard certified for 20
passengers.
On our scheduled tours, we limit the number of guests to 12 and all guests are 12 years and older. However as private charter children under 12 are welcome.
MV Kittiwake has a 3/4 enclosed cabin, marine head, outdoor covered seating and plenty of room at the rails.
Kittiwake also has on board high grade binoculars, a wildlife library, blankets and extra jackets and a hydrophone for listening to the whales.
Our Captains and crew are all seasoned sailors.
Our marine naturalists have degrees in marine biology and marine sciences.
